The Henkelman Diptank DT 60 Shrink Packaging Machine is designed for the use of shrink bags; they are used for cooking and storing foods that need to be tightly wrapped.
For shrinking, the bag is sealed on a vacuum packer, then submerged in water at 95 Celsius/ 203 Fahrenheit for 3 seconds. The bag shrinks around the product and envelopes it like a second skin. This is particularly useful for products that produce juices as they are held in product.
Shrink packaging machines are aimed at the retail trade, restaurants, catering and supermarkets, for meat, cheese, poultry, fish, and vegetables etc.
